Several Little Free Libraries already exist on the island, thanks to the initiative of community members. This story was featured in the Winter edition of the Riviera Newsletter.
Responding to interest in setting up additional little free libraries on Anderson Island, an ad hoc committee of islanders (Marge Schuler, Rosemary Zilmer, Glenn and Beulah Robb) hopes to facilitate community participation in such an initiative and to make library units accessible at a reduced cost.
We are happy to announce the availability of locally made Libraries for purchase. Greg Schuler has designed a prototype he is willing to build for us at cost.
